What does OpenSooq do to identify and remove scammers and fraudsters from its platform?

OpenSooq relies on its users to add listings, but we care deeply about building and maintaining a safe and secure platform. This is an ongoing process, and we regularly update our policies and procedures to address new challenges. By way of example, we: 1. Respond to and take action based on user reports about listings that users know or suspect are fraudulent or deceptive; 2. Have a strong and growing content moderation team that monitors listings and takes down listings that are in breach of our Terms of Use; 3. Use artificial intelligence tools to improve the quality of listings and remove listings that we believe are fraudulent; 4. Regularly share up-to-date advice with our users, so that they are aware of the latest trends, issues and scams; and 5. Are regularly in touch with police and other authorities in countries in which we operate, and respond to their concerns and advice.
